For our kickoff, we invited guest experts to join us for a weekend of inspiration gathering and group concepting.

The agenda. Four interactive panels shared emerging ideas and examples in key context areas (Data Viz & Dynamic Information, Mobile and Place-based Interactions, Games, and Emerging Interfaces) and explored how these developments might be applied to learning and education. Representing insights as individuals and as part of organizations like Google Creative Labs, NY Time R&D Labs, Local Projects, Makerbot, and more, we collected a pretty awesome group. Pooling brains, our expert guests joined the DTC Lab members in a series of concepting charettes. We came up with are a few pretty nifty ideas (at least we think so) based on our collective knowledge.
